Bridge Association of REALTORS® Community Foundation Grants Program
The Bridge Association of REALTORS® COMMUNITY FOUNDATION awards grants annually to support essential community programs for Youth, Seniors and Housing. Realtors and friends give back to the community by supporting the COMMUNITY FOUNDATION through their own contributions and donations from vendors, affiliate partners, corporate sponsors and participants in the Oral Lee Brown 5K Walk-A-Thon. The COMMUNITY FOUNDATION awarded over $51,000 in 2021 to deserving local non-profit organizations in our community.
Funding Priorities:
- Youth education programs
- Food & nutrition programs
- Organizations directly benefiting the homeless population and advocacy groups seeking long-term solutions to the housing crisis
- Organizations and programs providing affordable workforce and senior housing within our communities
Grants are for non-profits in
- Youth Arts and Education
- Workforce Housing and Homeless
- Senior Service Community Activities
in the cities of Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Kensington, Oakland, and Piedmont.
How to apply
Grant submission period is June 1 - July 31, 2023
Eligibility Guidelines
- We support programs in Albany, Berkeley, El Cerrito, Emeryville, Kensington, Oakland, Piedmont and Richmond.
- Requests for grants should be specific to a targeted use for funds rather than seeking a donation to a general fund. Grants will not be given to the general funds of any organization.
Sources of Funds
REALTORS® and Affiliate Members support Bridge AOR's Community Funds through voluntary contributions and participation in our annual program of fundraising events. Grant awards will range from $500 to $3,500.
